Instructions for Authors
Preparation:
Manuscripts should be typeset in English with double spacing by using AMS-LaTex. The authors should use the BJMA style file
that has been developed for LaTeX2e standard and can be found at BJMA_style_file_Latex.tex
(see also BJMA_style_file_Latex.pdf
).
In the
case of acceptance the corresponding author MUST prepare the paper by using the
style file of BJMA. The abstract should not exceed 200 words. The authors
should include as footnotes for the first page, keywords and phrases as well as
2000 Mathematics Subject Classifications. Other footnotes may also be included
in the first page about supporting grants, presentations, etc. References
should be listed in alphabetical order according to the surnames of the first
author at the end of the paper and should be cited in the text as, e.g., [2] or
[3, Theorem 4], etc.
Submision:
The manuscripts
must be electronically submitted to the Editor-in-chief at moslehian@ferdowsi.um.ac.ir
(not to any editor or advisory editor) in LaTeX and PDF formats. Each
submission must be accompanied with an effective Cover Letter, in which
the corresponding author, on behalf of all authors, MUST provide:
1.
Author(s) Information: (a)
Name, (b) Surname, (c) Academic degree, (d) affiliation and (e) email address
of each author.
2. A member of the editorial board,
whom may be considered appropriate for handling the article.
However, assignment to that particular editor is not assured.
3. A list (names and e-mails) of 5 or more potential referees, who are good experts in the area of research (suggested referees should not be an (advisory) editor of BJMA, not be in the same country as one of the authors, not have collaboration with one of authors within the past two years, or not be a family member). Most of suggested referees should be from USA, Canada or Europe.
4. A confirmation of the fact that ALL authors of the manuscript have agreed to its submission to BJMA and are responsible for its content.
5. A declaration of the fact that NOT some portions of the results/data/figures in the manuscript have been published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Acknowledgement
of the receipt and the notification of the editorial decision on publication
will be sent by the editorial office. All editorial correspondences should be
addressed to the editor-in-chief. Any message will be replied within one
week. Please check the BULK folder in your email account! In the case of
not receiving any reply within one week , the message or submission should be
resent to moslehian@ams.org .
Referee:
Submitted papers must be correct, original, nontrivial, and well written. If
the language used is very poor, the manuscript will be rejected. A submitted
paper will be refereed in the traditional way by at least one referee. The BJMA
tries to make the decision within 4 months after submission. If necessary, the
corresponding author would be asked to revise the manuscript according to
referee's reports. The editorial board reserves the right to make reasonable
modifications in wording.
Galley proofs:
The galley proofs of each paper will be sent to the corresponding author who is
responsible for checking and approving the manuscript on behalf of all
coauthors within 3 days. A limited number of typographical corrections
are anticipated and extensive revisions may be reviewed again.
